I pay attention to substantial development and plan to develop my career through three different stages. In the first stage, I choose art education as my career; In the second stage, I will study another master program in New York, specialize in art and art education. In the third stage, I will continue to be an independent artist and transfer my work from education to contemporary art practice. The reasons why I pursue to be an art educator in the first step are various. As follows:

 

• Being an art educator is a stable and popular job in China, maintaining my living requirements.

• It’s significant for me to learn some art curriculums, including IB Visual arts, AP Art&Design, and IGCSE Art&Design even though they are secondary school programs, they solidify my understanding of visual arts in contemporary art mindsets.

• I always admire those knowledgeable and profound people, and I have great interests in liberal art education and broadly paying close attention to philosophy and arts in other disciplines, such as music, film, and dance. Being an educator means I will have lots of free time for self-learning to expand my knowledge scope. I look forward to fusing my knowledge into my contemporary art practice.

• It’s meaningful and challenging for me to work as an art educator in a private international secondary school because most art educators are foreigners rather than Chinese.

• I’m ambitious to change part of Chinese secondary art education because our local art education is always focus on skills training which is similar to Russia art education, rather than innovation, experimentation, and research.

• Being an educator means to be a lifelong learner, teaching through learning.

 

In the second stage, I will further study in New York, major in an art and art education program.

• I will learn some cutting-edge methods for art education.

• I look forward to exploring transcultural experience since New York is an international, immigrant, and multiracial modern city. 

• Knowing the operation of the galleries and markets 

• Building my career network.

• To enrich my resume. 

 

In the third stage, I will continue to be an independent artist and transfer most of my work from education to contemporary art practice.

• To produce a substantial body of works that explore the topic of The Beauty of Useless.

• To transform the artworks from 2D into 3D/installations.

• To feature the artworks by multiple layers that inspired by orchestra and perfume. 

• To demonstrate a sense of the visual effect that relates to relaxing, pleasure, rhythm, elegant, lightsome, immersive, constantly changing, flowing, velocity, spatial, gorgeous, blooming, rich, and color.
