In this process, I want to explore the boundary between illusion and reality. I used a projector to illuminate the artworks on the wall and considered myself as part of the artworks by randomly performing multiple emotions; integrating myself into the artworks enables me to reflect on who I am and how to define my identity. All the emotions and gestures were generated by myself. Therefore, the viewers can obviously identify the portraits inside the artworks are me, and their feelings are being influenced by the relationship between the portraits and the artworks. However, to some extent, the portraits inside the artworks are me, or are not me, regardless of they were created by myself, because no image can present who I am. All the emotions and moments are kinds of superficies that will be gone instantly.
